Welcome all to another NIT event. The event will take place on Sunday 20th of April at The Pink Cow in Shibuya, Tokyo.

We have high hopes for this event since the last one proved quite successful. More than 100 turned up at the March Meeting and, above all, had a great time.

In April we are even more prepared and we hope you will enjoy in our new environment. This time the entrance fee is 1900 Yen which includes Free soft drinks, coffee, Tea and Lunch buffet. Beer is available but it is extra.

One clarification. Some of you will have seen that there is an increase in the cost of 500 Yen. For that increase we are including a lunch buffet instead of just snacks. I'm sure you will enjoy the food. We always try for the best result and will try to keep it under 2000 Yen. It is important for us to make it affordable for everybody but at the same time we try to get the best deal and this time too we got ourselves a nice package.

The restaurant this time can easily host 150 people and we hope it can be nice and cozy. Your friends and their friends are also invited.

Join us to meet a cool bunch of people during your Sunday afternoon

When I went to Pink Cow for the first time, I looked for "Fafa merin" cafe to turn left. On turning 3rd corner right, you will find the venue.

I'd love to go if the meeting place is somewhere close to Ginza or Shinjuku!

I had a blast at the last NIT meeting. Unfortunately, I'll be on travel from December 6th to 20th in the U.S. at Washington, DC. Shoganai!!!

Who attended?

  • 29 attendees
    •  It was great. The food was way better than last time. Hard to secure eating today, though, but I enjoyed standing around too.
    •  It was a nice change of pace for me. I met some very nice people and I am looking forward to other events. I am really glad that I came to the event.
    •  As a "networking" event, it's pretty hopeless to have a place with lots of seats and nowhere to stand and mingle. Perhaps a larger, less busy venue such as the cavernous Roppongi branch of the Hobgoblin pub chain might be better (it's usually deserted anyway, so I'm sure they'd be amenable).
