One of our members, Reg, is graciously facilitating this fabulous event. We'll meet on the corner of 26th Street & 10th Avenue, wait 10 minutes for any slow pokes & then begin our adventure which includes:
* G.R. N'Namdi Gallery to view provocative art dealing with sex & race.
* Andrea Meislin Gallery to view paintings which raise issues of gender and the "female gaze" in portraiture.
* Ettore Sottsass at Friedman Benda and
* Barry Friedman Ltd., both places offer radically different & amusing takes on furniture as art
* Mary Ryan Gallery to check out Yoko Ono's show
* the Bang on a Can concert series which is an eclectic mix of musicians from different parts of the world playing ethnic music, new "classical" music, & jazz.

this will be a full day with lots of walking so put on your sneakers & feel free to join us at any point of the day. at some point after our gallery walk & before checking out the concerts we'll chow down at a local ethnic restaurant for yummy cheap eats.
