What's Meetup?

Maybe it's time for a little less face-to-screen and a little more face-to-face.

What's a Meetup Group?

Meetup Groups are today's support groups, parent playgroups, citizen groups, fitness groups, book clubs, professional groups, and other powerful local groups!

Folks, this is another event that is being presented by A.S.S. members Robyn Sklar and Lynn Serpe (Triple R Events: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). I will definitely be there getting my green on!

------------------------------------------

Calling all e-coholics! Are you addicted to the planet? Come "drink sustainably" at The Creek (formerly known as The Creek and the Cave) in LIC.

Location: 10-93 Jackson Avenue
Subway: Steps away from the Vernon-Jackson Avenue Stop on the 7 train or the 21st St/Van Alst stop on the G train

The Creek has generously offered to discount selected eco-friendly drinks (such as locally-produced or organic beers) and there will even be a specialty "green" drink.
