The following events are open for new RSVP's:
SPORTS REGISTRATION
Beach Volleyball - Urban Rec Beach:
Calling all Beach Volleyball players! It's that time of year again! Dig out the sunglasses and sunscreen and get ready to hit the beach! Beach Volleyball will commence this April! Co-ed 6s.
Please be proficient in 3 hits: receiving, setting, spiking, and bumping and serving the ball.
Time: 5pm
Date: April 2008 (exact date TBA)
Cost: $65 (for 7 weeks)
*PLEASE NOTE: we will also be looking at mid-week 4's and 6's at Jericho Beach should we get enough interest. Games start at 6pm. More details TBA in next week's newsletter!

Softball / Slo-Pitch:
Calling all softball players! Team Captains Robin, Travis and Faiz are looking for interested members to start a fun, co-ed VYP softball team for the coming season.
Time: TBA
Date: Early March Meeting / Season begins April
Cost: TBA
VYP will be registering a team in the very popular Crosstown Slo-Pitch League for the weeknight league (http://www.crosstownslopitch.com/).
Games would begin at 6:45 and vary in days and locations depending on the week. Exhibition games will being in the first week of April.
We will be having an initial meeting and informal practice for all interested players in early March. We have roster openings for 15 people and 5 subs.

FUSE - Vancouver Art Gallery Evening Event
Time: 7pm - 12am
Location: Vancouver Art Gallery ( 750 Hornby St .)
Hosts: Faiz, Mel, Mehdi, Neumann
Cost: $15
Join us in meeting some new people while taking in the Art Gallery's famous FUSE event! These events have developed quite the reputation as being the place to be in Vancouver!
Tickets will have to be purchased at the door so we will be meeting at 7pm on the steps of the Art Gallery on Robson and Hornby.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Faiz, Mel and the Social Committee! We will
have VYP nametags and small signs.

Perhaps you couldn't make it out to our New Member Meet and Greet on the previous Sunday, or just need a mid-week excuse to get out of the house, this is it!
Special thanks to Aida for helping us run this event with this great special! Because this is a volunteer run group, all proceeds will go towards a float for future Sports teams and events. This will allow our Events Committee to pre-register for more teams and events in the future!
More events mixed in with cheap drinks & appies, it's a win win for everyone! Come mark another great milestone with VYP!
