The Junior Chamber of Commerce (the Jaycees) is the most active young adults' organization, offering the best opportunities for volunteerism, community service and leadership training to men
and women between the ages of 21 and 41.
It is the mission of the Gastonia Jaycees to promote and enhance the leadership abilities of the membership while striving to make our community a better place in which to live and work.
We will accomplish these goals by: 1) promoting and performing service projects designed to develop individual leadership skills and benefit our community; 2) partaking in various activities that strengthen the individual's skills at social interaction and teamwork.
Some of the projects adopted by the Gastonia Jaycees are:
* The Gastonia Christmas Parade
* Distinguished Services Awards
* David Gaines Memorial Scholarship
* Back to School project
* N.C. Jaycee Burn Center and many others!
The Gastonia Jaycees meet every second and fourth Tuesday at 6:15p.m. Check out our calendar for upcoming events on the local, state, and national level!
