“ The entire event was overshadowed be Meetup.com's recent announcement of a monthly $19 charge. Dreadful! That put a damper on everything, and I'm not going to tell you anything. You are no longer the friends; you are the enemy. ”

Vegan & Vegetarian Group OrganizerOrganizer“ Outstanding!! Love the folks who attend any of these groups: BVA, MARC, BVS, NAVS, the Boston Vegan and Vegetarian Meetups; there's never a dull moment at the Vegan Meetup, nor at the Vegetarian Meetup! We LOVE to piggyback on BVS and MARC (and now BVA) events, particularly these outreach events in the sunshine and then indoors with music and educational and inspirational presentations. The BVA Vegan Speakers Group and BVA Monthly Meeting and the BVA vegan dining AFTERWARDS were great. Towards the end, the woman who had persuaded ME 30-35 years ago to go vegan showed up with a shared longtime vegan friend. All very, very, very nice! ”

“ Well, it's odd, and I don't know whether it's short-lived or long-lived, but I'll support it as long as Wheeler and his operation support it. The food is really pretty good, and the venue for Wheeler is ideal. I fear he won't be able to maintain the cash flow necessary to sustain his optimal location. But then, this IS an ideal location. I loved the chocolate mint and the ginger cookie; I did NOT like the frozen champagne. Less alcohol, Wheeler;l more comfort foods. ”
