Have you ever flown through the air on a Tarzan Rope to drop off into water ? Have you imagined how awesome it is jump off a cliff, float around casually in some water, or try to balance yourself on sinking plank ? Do you think you have the strength and balance to pull yourself onto a log and stand? Want to do all that and beat the summer heat?

It's even better because it's cheaper! That's Right, opening weekend you can go to Beaverdam for a mere $10. There's free parking or if you're a non-driver wanting to escape the city, you can take the Llight Rail!

Beaverdam is a 30 acre wooded park located less than half a mile from the Cockeysville Warren Road Lightrail stop. There is a 1 ½ acre quarry with Tarzan ropes, a beach front area, two pools, basketball court, volleyball courts and a snack bar. There are numerous picnic tables and grills throughout the park for those who want to cook for themselves.

Let's bring some food, sunscreen, beach blanket or chair, a frisbee, a volleyball, a basketball, and a beach towel and make a day of it! Oh yeah, don't forget your raft, noodle, or other floater.
