The Alexandria Junior Chamber (Jaycees) is a premier leadership training and community service organization for young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40. Jaycee members live in northern Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. The membership represents a variety of occupations, interests, social and economic backgrounds.
The Jaycees are focused on helping members develop leadership skills through community service and business/social activities. Our overarching goal is to have fun!
Each year, members have the opportunity to participate in almost 100 opportunities (no mandatory events) to give back to their community, develop new skills, and meet new people in Alexandria and surrounding areas. Jaycee events include happy hours, movie nights, socials, fundraisers, community service activities, and professional networking activities.
Membership in the Alexandria Jaycees (only $80 per year) includes membership in the Virginia Jaycees, the U.S. Junior Chamber, and Junior Chamber International.
