MEET AT NOON NEAR SHELTER; IF YOU ARE A BEGINNER A VETERAN WILL OFFER INSTRUCTIONS AND ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS. WEAR GOOD HIKE SHOES AND BE PREPARED FOR AT LEAST A MILD WORKOUT. WE WILL DO AT LEAST THE ENTRY LEVEL COURSE AND PERHAPS ANOTHER, TIME PERMITTING. SNACKS AND COLD DRINKS PROVIDED AT END OR YOU MAY BRING YOUR OWN PICNIC. The Rochester Orienteering Club holds meets at local parks approximately every other week during the spring, summer and fall. It isn't necessary to use a compass on beginner courses, but compasses may be borrowed from the club, if you want to practice. Instruction and beginner courses are available at all meets
