Movie description:
After a devastating break-up with his girlfriend, TV sitcom star Sarah Marshall, a heartbroken and depressed Peter heads to Hawaii for a little vacation to try his best to forget every detail of his relationship. But love laughs at Peter, because Sarah is vacationing in the same exclusive resort as Peter, along with her new boyfriend. Featuring Jason Segel, Kristen bell, Bill Hader. Run time: 1 hr. 52 min.

We will camp out early at the Activities Building is now know as the "MAC" but it's the same location. It's behind the MAC, in the grassy area on the WEST side of campus.

Meeting time:
8:30 we will meet in front of the projection truck
9:00 pm is when the movie is scheduled to start per UTA website

Every Thursday this summer, the University of Texas at Arlington breaks out their projector, mounts it on a truck, along with some high powered speakers and shows first run movies to students and the community.

You bring your lawn chair, some bug spray and UTA provides free entertainment and even free popcorn! Candy and drinks are also available.

    SORRY, seems there was some confusion about how to find Michael at this venue. We will be directly in front of the projection truck at the next one!

    Wow. UTA used to show movies on the side of that building when I went to school there. Only I don't think they were first run flicks. After the movie we used to go to Skippy's Mistake but I know that's long gone.

    I'm going to Blue Mesa Happy Hour first in Fort Worth, then I will be heading over with chair in hand!

Who attended?

    • “ I was there but wore a light blue shirt, that made me look like the uta staff. anyway the movie was ok. IT was hot evening. ”
    • “ I was at the movie venue (UTA) at 8.30 pm. I was unable to see any body from the meetup group. Did any one really come to see the movie? I am curious to know it. ”
