From 1999 to 2004, there was a club on 14th street that had the collective conscious of the “Salsero” in its grasp. Every Wednesday, like clockwork, people embraced it and never let go.

The place was Nells and it was simply the best.

There was live music and scores of fans ready to be entertained. But behind the booth, on the boards, resided a DJ that forever changed the status quo. Her name is DJ Elvira.
