Wine Tasting Party/Fund-raiser at Mars Bar!

Due to the amazing turnout at previous events,
we're returning to one of my favorite places in SOMA, Mars Bar!

Great news! We will have the entire back patio so as to drink wine and bask in San Francisco's Spring!

REMINDER: THE PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL GO TO THE AMERICAN RED CROSS!

Fellow Esperanza member, Jessica, is also an employee of The American Red Cross, which is partnering with Esperanza to raise money for the following event:

This June 1, 2008 the American Red Cross Bay Area chapter will host the first annual READY, SET, GO! 5k Fun Run. The race will be held on a beautiful 3 mile course through Golden Gate Park in San Francisco with the proceeds benefitting our Youth Services Program, which provides youth and young adults with many opportunities to learn and serve their community.

On Saturday, May 10th, the party kicks off at 7:30 pm,
and we'll be serving the wine from 7:30-9:30pm. Mars Bar
is very easy to find, as it is right on the corner of 7th Street and
Brannan Street. Parking in the area is also easy to find.

At each tasting, we learn more of what you like and what you'd like to see more of. We're also stepping it up a notch. Thus, this wine tasting is sure to please! The focus will be on wines from Italy & Spain and of high quality to boot! There will also be an assortment of cheeses, crackers, and fruits for your palate's pleasure.
