Welcome, you - yeah, all of you, who are not flakes ;-)

Hm.....a little bit of this, a little bit of that. We have several organizers and we do whatever strikes our fancy.

Please don't expect these to be 'perfectly' organized and presented events, but rather look at it as one person coming across something interesting and saying:'I'm doing this - does anybody want to join me?'

My personal taste in things leans more towards the quirky, weird, edgy etc. I prefer 'raw' over 'slick' and 'authentic' over 'produced' and since I'm in the East Bay I will probably set up more in this area. If any of you would like to set up an event - anywhere - please let me know and I'll make you Assistant Organizer.

There's ONE rule: 'flaking' is a 'no-no'. Just as you can rely on me being there, if I'm organizing an event, I should be able to count on you coming, if you've rsvp'd 'yes'. I'm not willing to lower my standards on that. I will delete people from the group for flaking. Emergencies can happen, but to save a space and just not show is disrespectful to the people that did come and the venue and I'd rather save spaces for those people that are reliable.

With that said, if you can live with that rule, then please join us ;-)
