The Torchlight parade leaves from Seattle Center at 6pm (or 6:45 depending on what website you look at). To beat the crowds downtown, let's meet at the start of the parade before it gets too crazy!!

From the website: Celebrating 60 years, the parade has seen generations joining together. For the non-Seattle native there is no better way to become familiar with so many aspects of our wonderful community and neighborhoods.

The 2.5-mile march through the heart of downtown (4th Avenue) Seattle features participation from nearly every neighborhood in the region and is a wonderful opportunity for spectators to experience the multi-cultural community in which we live.

Not to be outdone, the illuminated floats, precision drill teams, regional and international marching band, skilled equestrian units, the Seattle Police Motorcycle Drill team and of course the fun-loving Seafair Clowns and Seafair Pirates.
