First off, I put time as 9:30pm to meet at the hotel front desk for Friday night if you are spending the night. I would love to meet up with some of you earlier (if you dont work friday daytime) but I put the late meetup time because I figure many people will not be able to make it during the day because of work. If you are able to get there earlier, feel free, and you can message among each other. P.S If you are wanting a ride up, please call me or email me and let me know. I have room in my car for 3 people besides myself, and am going up for Friday night.

If you are just coming for the day trip, we will meet outside the hotel restaurant at NOON on Saturday morning.

For the day trippers, the casino has a great all-you-can-eat buffett that starts around 4pm -10pm... GREAT selection of food, something for everyone. There is a show theatre inside as well, that in the later part of the night turns into a really good dance club! I can say this, because I have been a few times already, and have loved it everytime I have gone. Their website has more information about the shows they offer and the entertainment as well -- best of all, it's free!

When you RSVP, if you can put in your comments for what trip you are coming on, and if you are driving or require a ride up. For drivers, if you can also include how many seats in your car you have, so members that require a ride up can possibly contact you and arrange to carpool... thank you!

If you are spending the night on Friday, it is advised to call ahead and book your room in advance. You can also stay in a hotel outside of the casino if you wish (hotel casino is upper class, $170/night per room). There is a MOTEL 8 not too far from there and a few others. Putting what you are doing in the RSVP comments will be of help for other members. If we split room costs, the price is much lower smile

P.S Do not forget, to get across the border by car, you require either a passport OR two pieces of gov't photo ID (ex. drivers license & birth certificate).

    I have been meaning to upload the photos for this trip to the site so you all can see how nice the room was, and how much fun we had. It is a shame that so many of you cancelled at the last minute. The hotel has a little lounge in the lobby. We met an african american male, who took a liking to us-- lol, it was fun watching him try to weasel his way in with all the tricks in the book. He even had some very interesting photos on his cell phone... don't ask, lol.

Who attended?

    • “ After we oohed & aahed over the hotel & our room, it was off to the buffet (first time I ever got a senior's discount!). Afterwards, we took the shuttle bus to the mall & then spent time in the casino, cabaret & lounge. We met some interesting characters who shared their comments & cell phone pictures. Back to the mall in the morning & then we came home. it was a great getaway & even the weather & border crossing cooperated. We also managed to minimize losing each other! ”
