Looking to expand your social circle with intelligent, interesting and single folks? My idea is to host small dinner parties (6-8 people) with a mix of my current friends and new ones found through this MeetUp. Here are some of the qualities we're seeking in the people that would join us for these parties: *Intelligent *Articulate *Sense of humor *Fun to be around *Social *Interesting Each of these parties will have a themed cuisine. I will supply the main course and a beverage. Each guest will sign up to bring one of the following: appetizer, soup/salad, side dish, dessert, wine/beer/beverage. You don't have to cook the dish you bring - although if you're a good cook we'd love you to! If you have limited skills in the kitchen it's perfectly acceptable to purchase what you bring. :) We are single professionals in our 30s and would like to meet other singles in their late 20s to mid 40s. Here Comes The Sun! - It's a Tropical Theme
Apparently people are busy this weekend or the notice was too short so I've canceled it and am rescheduling for next Friday. I know it's Memorial Day weekend but am hoping enough people are sticking around town. If not, we'll do it the following weekend - and hope the sun sticks around!
It's a tropical theme and I'll be making Polynesian Chicken and Rice and some rum punch. Read more
