The Kiwanis Club of Seattle Meetup
|
The Kiwanis Club of Seattle meets for lunch every first Tuesday of the month at the Columbia Tower Club and has additional community service events through out the rest of the month. We are actively looking for new members and volunteers to help support children in need in our community. Dues are $300 per year and include lunch at the Columbia Tower Club. Lunch is $25 for Guests. The Kiwanis Club of Seattle was organized in 1919, just two years after the international organization. In 1945, the Seattle Kiwanis memorial Fund was established as a non profit and is the community service arm of the club. Today, its members carry and volunteer help to many different local organizations. With a fund corpus of more than $900,000 combined with a group of volunteers, the club continues to provide thousands of dollars in contributions and hundreds of volunteer hours per year to the community. www.kiwanisseattle.o rg editor@kiwanisseattl e.org
