IMG "Indus Marketing Group" was started back in the early 90?s by three friends. In a city like Manhattan where meeting South Asians was not the easiest thing to do, their goal was to create a resource for their fellow South Asian peers in the age range of 25 and over. What started as a friendly gathering of fifty or so people soon turned into a large social network and mingling events that attracted a five hundred plus turnout. Towards the late 90?s IMG slowly took the back seat as new younger networking groups formed and targeted the 21 and over South Asian crowd.
